Biography

Award winning Artist David Vernon grew up in the Midwest USA. Relocating to New York City in 2001 he quickly made his mark on the music scene through showcases and demo recording work for Musical Theatre, Cabaret and Jazz Composers. In 2005 David went solo with his first one man show entitled "By Myself...". That show culminated into his debut CD recording with the same title. Attention garnered through that show and CD attracted many bookings with some of the most prestigious and renowned clubs in NYC and collaborations with contemporary Composers. As an artist his focus on the material he produces for shows is thematic and carefully written to invite an audience into a journey with emotive high art being the most prevalent element. Productions include: The Art Of Song, Daylight Standards Time, Compositions, Love...The Concert and Broadway My Way. David has been nominated for awards from Broadway World and is A Bistro Award Winner for Best Male Vocalist.
